HW Design / Development

• Decomposition of high-level requirements into low-level requirements and allocation to component and function
• Design / Adaptation of existing solutions for new applications
• Development of solutions for technical problems and/or requirements by using new/established tools
• Support the development of production test
• Support the industrialization of Boards

HW Validation / Verification

• Identification, development and implementation of new test strategies
• Adaptation of existing test strategies to cover the needs of new application

Process / Environment

• Autonomous working according to AES and project specific processes which are based on international standards
• Development / Adaptation of process according international standards
• Tailoring of development processes to project-specific needs
• Definition of Statement of Work for supplier
• Establishment of development and verification environment

Steering / Leading

• Delegation of work package tasks to project team members
• Management of different sub teams according to project objectives
• Coordination, monitoring and steering of delegated resources according to schedule and cost constraints
• Coordination and leading of internal and external Board reviews and audits
• Management of suppliers regarding the agreed objectives
• Generation of effort estimations and project schedule
• Monitoring quality of deliverable
• Provide a regular report with respect to deliverables, schedule and quality

• Graduate engineer in electrical engineering (or equivalent knowledge and skills acquired by other means)
• Several years (more than 7 years) of professional experience in safety critical HW (board) development
• Experience in national and international aerospace standards (certification process, DO254 and avionics process expertise - standards, requirements, trace-ability, etc.)
• Solid project management experience
• Strong resilience combined with a self-driven and reliable working style
• Ability to manage priorities efficiently, work successfully in teams and take decisions effectively
• Fluent communication in English and German
• Availability for occasional business travel
